  Dr. R.L. Peng

Profile:
Ru Lin Peng received her B. Sc. in Metallic Materials and Heat Treatment from South China Institute of Technology, China in 1982, and her PhD degree in Engineering Materials from Linköping University, Sweden in 1992. She worked at the Studsvik Neutron Research Laboratory of Uppsala University before joining the Department of Management and Engineering of Linköping University as a faculty member in 1997. She is currently Associate Professor at Linköping University. Peng’s research concerns enhancing surface properties of engineering materials and is active in two research areas: residual stresses and high temperature coatings. Her work regrading high temperature coatings is focused on development, characterization and modelling of metallic coatings for oxidation and corrosion protection and thermal barrier coatings which also provide heat isolation.
